yuragi(揺らぎ) is a rising indie band from Japan, known for their unique sound and style that blends dreamy pop melodies, shoegaze guitars, and post-rock atmospheres.

Since their formation in 2015, the band has released several singles and EPs, as well as a full-length album in 2021, which received critical acclaim and sold out all their release events.

“Here I Stand” is the second full-length album by yuragi(揺らぎ), a Japanese shoegaze band. “Here I Stand” will release on April 5th, 2023 by FLAKE SOUNDS label.

The album contains 10 tracks, including the title track “Here I Stand” which was released as a single on February 22nd, 2023.

The song “Here I Stand” is Yuragi’s first title track and it symbolizes the theme of the album, which is about finding one’s own freedom and identity.

yuragi (揺らぎ), a band that continues to grow its listener base worldwide, has announced the “Here I Stand” Release Event tour in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka to commemorate the release of their 2nd full album “Here I Stand”, their first in about 2 years.

The “Here I Stand” Release Event will take place on May 3rd (Wed/Holiday) at Nagoya stiffslack, May 5th (Fri/Holiday) at Shibuya WWW and May 27th (Sat) at Shinsaibashi JANUS.

The Tokyo and Nagoya shows will be one-man live performances. Tickets will go on sale at various ticket agencies from March 3rd (Wed) at 10:00. (Updated on March 24th, 2023)

    “Formed in 2015 with miraco and Yusei at the center. In March 2016, they self-released their 1st Single “bedside” and their 1st EP “nightlife EP” in December of the same year. In August 2018, they released their nationwide EP “Still Dreaming, Still Deafening” through FLAKE SOUNDS. Under the direction of video director Pennacky, they released the MV for “Unreachable” from the recorded songs.

    In February 2019, they welcomed two groups: 羊文学 and No Buses to host “Wearing The Inside Out”.

    In July of the same year, they performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’19 ROOKIE A GO-GO.

    In December of the same year, they self-released their first remix album “Still Dreaming, Still Deafening Remixes & Rarities”.

    As remixers, a total of five people participated: 9:en, Kntr, singular balance, Big Animal Theory and Kogane from Canada who belongs to Ryan Hemsworth’s label “Secret Songs”.

    In June 2021 they released their first full album “For you Adroit it but soft” through FLAKE SOUNDS.

    With the release they held release events which were their first one-man live performances at Shibuya WWW Nagoya stiffslack Shinsaibashi JANUS. All performances were sold out. *The Shinsaibashi JANUS performance was an appearance at FLAKE RECORDS’ 15th Anniversary Event (a two-man live with んoon).

    In October of that year they distributed free paradatas for “For you Adroit it but soft” and solicited arrangements such as remixes.

    In January 2022 they self-released a remix album “For you Adroit it but soft: Remixes & Rarities” featuring a total of ten groups from Japan and abroad including Slow Magic Ryan Hemsworth etc. The mastering was done by Masafumi Gotoh from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.

    A new album is scheduled for release in 2023.

    So far they have performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’19 ROOKIE A GO-GO and served as guest acts for many overseas artists such as Japanese Breakfast Turnover Nothing etc. Further domestic and international activities are expected in the future.”
