THE NOVEMBERS return with new song “kanashimigakawaitara(かなしみがかわいたら)” – their first release in three years!

A comment from Yusuke Kobayashi (Vo./Gt.) about the new song has also been received.

About THE NOVEMBERS

THE NOVEMBERS 2023
THE NOVEMBERS is a Japanese alternative rock band.

Formed in 2005 by Yusuke Kobayashi (Vo./Gt.) and Hirofumi Takamatsu (Ba.), both from Tochigi Prefecture, they made their debut in 2007 with UK Project.

Although the band’s name has no special meaning, Kobayashi was attracted to the beauty of the word “NOVEMBERS” and named it accordingly.

However, the number 11 is significant to them, as they celebrate milestones such as their 11th anniversary concert and the release of their 6th album “Hallelujah” on November 11th.

This song is a warm one that helps us regain ourselves.

It’s like melting a hardened heart, like taking a step forward with a lifted foot.

And it’s a song that reaffirms the meaning of the four of us meeting and being The Novembers, like embracing each other again, like being reborn.

We are spending such time now, with the excitement and anticipation of a child who has found a treasure. Let’s meet on tour.

“この曲は僕たちが僕たち自身を取り戻していくようなあたたかな曲です。硬くなった心を溶かしていくような、すくんでしまった足が一歩踏み出すような。そしてこの4人が出会ったことの意味や、The Novembersであることの意味を確かめ合うような、抱きしめなおすような、生まれなおすような曲です。そんな時間をいま僕たちは過ごしています。宝物を見つけた子供のような胸騒ぎや期待を抱えて。ツアーでお会いしましょう。”
