The rock band “Orange Ocean (橘子海)” from Qingdao, China, announced that they will hold their first tour in Japan in March 2024.
The guest for the Tokyo performance (March 6, Shibuya WWW X) is the four-member band “TENDOUJI” that advocates EASY PUNK, and the guest for the Osaka performance (March 8, Shinsaibashi JANUS) is the four-member band “No Buses” that features sweet melodies and tight beats.
Orange Ocean is a three-member band formed in Qingdao, China, in 2012, consisting of 2KM on vocals/guitar, Qingxi on bass/sampling, and Xiaolu on drums/vocals.
Their debut album “岸辺の涙(浪潮上岸/Tears in Ocean)” released in China and Japan in 2019 caused a sensation in both countries and attracted attention as an expected newcomer band.
In 2022, they released a song called “Made for Mermaid” co-produced with the Japanese band “The fin.”, which became a topic for its unique sound and lyrics.
In 2023, they participated in the Chinese music program “Band of Summer” and their name became known throughout China.
In the spring of 2024, they will embark on an Asian tour that will take them to Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore, expanding their activities to the world.
