Comments from Community Members
The following comments were received from community members who listened to the advance:
The MV where she searches for nice boys in various places in Kansai is also lovely.
The MV for her debut song “Hey Girl” featured footage from when she traveled to Kanto, so it feels like a counterpart👏
As for the sound, it was bedroom pop so comfortable it invited me to sleep!
The lyrics are pretty straightforward. I think that might be what makes the chorus/hook land so smoothly, Which I thought was very good. I found myself being a little confused on what was being said, sometimes the mumbling was a bit much. I understand that a vocal performance like that is sometimes part of a specific style (which often accompany a song like this) but sometimes I felt like I didn’t hear entire words.
Music video was super charming, felt both purposeful and accidental (In the best way.) If im a little nitpicky, the verses sometimes feel a little too stripped back, as if its waiting for the chorus. But overall, great song, great job. Enjoyed listening to it very much.
The voice was also lovely and soothing to the ears👂It sparkled so much that I wondered if it was okay for an old man like me to listen to it.
If I’m being greedy, I’d want more rough edges! This sparkling feeling is dazzling✨️
In the MV, familiar Kansai scenery appeared and made me nostalgic.
