About Synmelon
Emerging from the heart of Bangkok, Thailand, Synmelon is an independent alternative rock quartet carving their unique sonic path.
Formed in late 2018, these four musicians weave a tapestry of sound that seamlessly blends progressive and shoegaze influences with the vibrant energy of 90s and early 2000s post-rock.
Their musical journey took flight in 2020 with the release of their debut single, “Black Cat,” masterfully crafted by Thai post-rock legend Noppanan Panicharoen.
Captivating audiences with subsequent releases like “Permanent Pen,” “Memories,” and “Lost and Found,” they secured an impressive fourth place on Cat Radio’s coveted TOP40 chart.
Synmelon’s dedication to their craft was recognized in 2022 when Cat Radio DJs selected them for a coveted performance at the prestigious Cat Expo 9 music festival, representing the Bedroom Studio session dedicated to independent artists.
Fuelled by the success of their 2023 single “Neon,” which skyrocketed to the top of the Bedroom Top20 chart, the band is currently focused on crafting their highly anticipated debut album, set for release in 2024.
In addition, a new song from their debut album, “Lullaby,” was released on February 17.
