【New Project】Discord Community Members and Writers Recruitment
BELONG Media / A-indie is recruiting individuals who can participate in our Discord community, comment on new tracks, and engage in music article reviews.
While article writing is volunteer-based, you’ll enjoy deepening your music experience within our Discord community through benefits such as connecting with music lovers worldwide and getting early access to unreleased tracks.
Additionally, the articles you write will be delivered to listeners worldwide in both Japanese and English.

Background of Recruitment
BELONG Media / A-indie launched a Discord community in 2025 to present the indie music scene centered in Asia to the world.
Currently, approximately 50 passionate music listeners from 8 countries including Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Argentina, Netherlands, London, and America participate in the community.
In this community, we have started a new initiative where we conduct limited advance listening of artist unreleased tracks and provide feedback in the form of comments from a listener’s perspective.
We are recruiting community members who can participate in article writing to transform this “raw voice” into articles and convey the charm of artists more deeply.
Recruitment Details
Main Activities
- Early Access Listening of Unreleased Tracks
Listen to unreleased tracks provided by artists within the Discord community and share your impressions and comments - Writing Review Articles
We ask you to write review articles about the tracks you’ve listened to in advance or your favorite works (in either Japanese or English). We will also consider cross-reviews with community members if opportunities arise - Community Interaction
Exchange opinions with music listeners from around the world and discover diverse ways to enjoy music

Editor-in-Chief of BELONG Media/A-indie. Since 2010, has written for “The Masterpiece Beyond Time,” a music blog that became the predecessor of BELONG.
After writing for “only in dreams” hosted by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION vocalist Masafumi Gotoh, studied music business at a music professional school.
Has been writing music articles about Japanese and international music for over 10 years.
Previously managed garage rock, psychedelic rock, and Japanese indie rock at a music CD rental shop with over 100,000 titles.
Leveraging that experience, published 26 issues of “BELONG Magazine” with “roots rock” as its theme.
Currently writes articles based on SEO strategies learned at a web production company. His hobby is watching “Kaiun! Nandemo Kantei-dan.”
